Becoming a 'Commercial Powerhouse': Outsight, Innovation & Smart Contracting @ IACCM Australasia Conference 2017

In today's highly competitive, value-conscious world, commercial differentiation is essential. Creative approaches to contract and relationship management are enabling more and more organisations to develop a 'commercial powerhouse' - adaptive, agile, collaborative and cost-effective.

Complex supply ecosystems demand new forms of contracting and the development of integrated business skills and functions. The future looks very different from the past, especially in the field of contracting and commercial management. Big data, analytics, cognitive software, portfolio management, behavioural economics, virtual negotiation ... The opportunities for transformation abound.

At this conference, you will discover:

- the performance characteristics of a 'commercial powerhouse'

- the tools and systems transforming your competition

- the improvements that commercial innovation will bring to your financial performance

- the skill requirements for commercial staff of today - and where to get them

Whether you want to test your progress or get started on the journey, this IACCM conference is an event you must not miss. It combines the why, the what and the how of contract and commercial management. Hear from leaders, speak with experts, see the exciting potential .... And be inspired!

Leaders of the Future and the IACCM Conference Start-up Hub

Two Exciting Features of the IACCM Australasia Conference

Leaders of the Future

This is an exciting new initiative that will become a regular feature at IACCM conferences globally, and we have just experienced incredible success with it in Europe, which you can read about on our blog -

At IACCM we want to work closely with and support the younger members of our contract and commercial management community - those who will be our leaders of the future.  As such, we are incorporating a dedicated session as part of our upcoming Australasia Conference in Melbourne 31 July – 1 August 2017.

We are offering 20 complimentary places for ‘rising star’ individuals, and there is an opportunity for a major sponsor to support this fantastic program.  Email to receive our Sponsorship Opportunities kit and for more information.

The IACCM Conference Start-up Hub

Another exciting initiative, running for the first time at our Australasia Conference is the IACCM Conference Start-Up Hub.   We’re looking for start-ups with innovative new concepts, that have the potential to solve some of commercial management’s biggest challenges, to join our members at the conference where they will be given a free presentation space to demonstrate and explain their concept.

Whether it’s a new app utilizing blockchain, a technology just out of R&D, or an innovative piece of contracting software, we want to showcase the companies that will help change commercial management over the next 5-10 years.

Only five start-up companies will be selected from all applications received, so this gives them another chance to develop their ‘pitch’.

And again, we have a sponsorship opportunity for organisations who want to encourage innovative start-up companies.  Email to receive our Sponsorship Opportunities kit and for more information.
